I'm actually thinking of converting my old Sony (thin) Vaio to a pseudo-"thin client" running out of flash. If nothing else, I'm planning to just use a CF to (2.5") IDE adapter, install Debian on it running in a flash-friendly mode, and be done with it. I'm hoping to do this in the next week or so.
