i've used svn for both collaborative coding projects and for writing projects. one of the latter is a multiyear book effort with a colleague at another university. svn has been a most helpful tool in this. i should say that we are using svn inconjunction with trac http://trac.edgewall.org/ which makes managing a large project much smoother. -- Serge Rey http://regal.sdsu.edu/~serge A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
