I *really* need some way to attach a big storage box to my network. I'm
shoveling around virtual machine images, and I simply cannot store them
all simultaneously on my laptop.
My goal is two SATA disks in RAID 1 in a single enclosure (low noise
fans required--if I hear it, I'll be unhappy). For some reason, paying
$100 + disks pains me--$50 + disks seems more like what I want.
Maybe it's a latent Cheap Bastard(tm) DNA strand asserting itself, but I
just feel like I should be able to find some Linux box to do the job for
less than $100.
