The set up is working beautifully, but using "Watch TV" through the
PVR-150, the output is significantly redder than through the straight
cable input. I want to know where to tune that (PVR or Myth) and how.
Obviously I could tune the TV to get the PVR right, but then I'd bleach
out the straight TV. Besides, I can see I'm going to get at least one more
PVR-150, and there is no guarantee they will have the same color output.
I'm betting it can be done in Myth.
The problem is not in the PVR-150 or MythTV for that matter. The problem
is in your video card. You need to do something called gamma correction,
which is dependent on your specific card.
I seem to recall that you using an nVidia MX4000 AGP 8X.
You may have the documentation in the following file:
/usr/share/doc/NVIDIA_GLX-1.0/README.txt
There is a utility called nvidia-settings that you can use to make the
adjustments. I don't know if MythDora includes this or not.
Also check the nVidia and MythTV web sites for more info.
