Deism is *not* atheism. Deists believe there is a Creator, but that this Creator doesn't interact with or interfere with people or the universe past its initial creation.

Do me a favor and read my quoted text once again. Pay special attention to the part which reads, "... his Creator had no effect on peoples' lives past creating the universe." If this holds true, then the Creator could *not* have endowed those rights upon all men; it is instead an inherent right granted upon men by virtue of being men. Investigate Deism further.

When did I start sounding like a Philosopher? I think I'm done with this thread.
