VxWorks costs something like $70,000 per year for licensing, not really
a great choice (I think you'd agree).
Wow. That's the first time I've ever actually seen the license numbers
for VxWorks. I'm really disappointed. I thought VxWorks was much
cheaper up front but went for the per unit cost.
