I was trying to show some people here at work, how easy it was to use KNOPPIX
so I downloaded a .ISO and burn it to a cd, but when I try to start it, it

KNOPPIX cd at /dev/hdc.... insmod: can't read'
/cdrom/KNOPPIX/modules/cloop.ko': I/O error.
I tryied it in different computers and looked in the cd and found that this
file exsist. Is there anything special that needs to be done to use this
KNOPPIX?

I've had this problem on a few systems. As I recall it's buggy dma in
the chipset. When the Knoppix CD first boots it comes up to prompt. Try
entering:
knoppix nodma
