Sorry, if I made it confusing.  I will be getting an A/V feed and I want to
stream/broadcast this live feed.

I am able to broadcast/stream MP3 files but our company's board
wants to broadcast their meetings live.

I am thinking of trying ICECAST2.

Huh?  Shoutcast worked fine for MP3 last time I checked.

Icecast works, but the MP3 version of Icecast is old.

Why do you want to "cast" rather than just store a file?  "casting" is
for playing live content as it occurs.  If you want offline playback,
just put a file on a web page.
