Hello everyone.
I have stuff in my garage. I no longer want that stuff in my garage.
If you're not familiar with how a beer-a-way works, here's a rundown:
If you bring me gifts of beer, you may take away gifts of hardware. If I
particularly like your beer, you can take more hardware than is listed
or the appropriate quantity of beer. Hell, if you come up here and
really want something, I'll probably just let you take it. Mainly I want
the stuff gone. So really, no offer will be refused. But, listed are
donations I think might be appropriate. Dollar values are for those not
old enough to purchase beer legally, or those too lazy to go to the store.
Currently up-for-grabs-for-beer is:
(*) A rack full of miscellaneous computer equipment:
Cobalt RaQ3 - Works. 6 pack of beer.
8-port 1U PS/2 KVM switch. 6 pack of beer.
Sun Netra T1 - 500 MHz CPU, 1 GB RAM, 1x36GB 1x18GB disks. $25 or a
couple six-packs.
Original Cisco PIX Firewall. 6 pack of beer.
Qty. 4: 24-port 10/100 Cabletron ELS100 managed 1U ethernet switches.
$15 or a couple 6 packs of beer.
1U rackmount ATX case with power supply. $10 or a 6 pack of beer.
2U rackmount ATX computer system (i can't remember what's in it) with
power supply. $10 or a 6 pack of beer.
4U 9 hot-swap-bay Ultra 320 SCSI disk enclosure. No disks. $15 or a 6
pack of beer.
Full-tower ATX case. $10 or a 6 pack of beer.
Dual P3/1000 system. VXA tape drive and box of tapes. Unknown RAM,
unknown hard disks. No idea what's on it -- got it from a friend. $25 or
a couple six packs of beer.
Narrow SCSI 4-bay desktop box containing: Plextor 24x4x48 CD Burner,
TEAC 8x4x24 CD Burner, DDS-2 drive, hot-swap hard disk bay. $10 or a 6
pack of beer.
External Narrow SCSI DVD-ROM drive. $5 or a 6-pack of beer.
Box full of Random SCSI Hard disks and CD-ROM drives (various sizes from
9-72 GB). $10 or a 6-pack of beer.
Box full of random peripherals. SCSI cards, SATA controllers, analog
modems, video boards, misc. hardware. Take your pick. A beer per pull.
And....
Yes, folks, the rack itself. 48 space open frame 2-post rack. $50 or a
case of beer.
I like good beer. If it's fizzy, yellow, and comes in a can, I don't
generally want it. Microbrews and import beers, ales, and lagers are
great. Especially microbrews. Bonus points for homebrews.
Downside: I live in San Marcos. Which is why I'd offer this stuff for
(mostly) free. So really, if you want something but don't want to pay
because of the drive, fine. Come get it. :) I mainly just want this
stuff gone to a good home so I can have more space in my garage.
Email me or contact me via phone if you're interested in anything and
i'll set it aside. 619 852 6374.
So, who's interested?
-Kelsey
