Got an el cheapo usb hub here, works fine in Slackware, WinXP, Knoppix, DSL
and whatnot, and: in Kubuntu live, too.

After installing Kubuntu (7.04) to hard disk however, I boot and get this:

I can't even login with a usb keyboard, I had to dig up a PS2 board. which
worked instantaneously.
What makes me umm? is that the live cd's kernel works but not as soon as it is
saved to disk..? unless for some reason the live kernel is a different one or
config'ed elsewise.

I suspect acpi hassles with the new usb suspend code, but don't really know
what to do about it.
