Hi, I have a question that doesn't directly have to do with Linux.
I am trying to install (a very old version of) Yellow Dog Linux on my old Mac Powerbook (G3 Lombard, I think). I screwed up the installation sequence; now I have Linux installed on a few partitions, but at boot time, neither Mac OS9 nor Linux are recognized. The Mac OS 9 restore CD does not mount any of the hard drive partitions, but if I'm trying to reformat the drive, it warns me about the partitions I'm about to delete. So, the hard disk partitions still seem to be there, but the rather basic tools on the restore CD can't mount them. What should I try to do?
