Oh, please, *everybody* using UNIX in the 1985-1995 timeframe has hjkl bound to muscle memory because of nethack.

The problem is that you also wind up with yubn *also* bound to muscle memory. I've *almost* quit trying to make the vi cursor move diagonally.
