I also found rarlinux-3.7.0 which is also no good... it's a compiled
binary that has had some really weird assumptions made.  It requires a
version of gcc that's newer than supported by RHEL3 and a version of
glibc that's newer than supported by RHEL4, so I can't run it on
anything here.

I found a copy on freshrpms.net already in rpm format. You can get the source from there and try to rebuild it if the binary doesn't work for you.
