For those using openwrt, you may like to look at a review X-Wrt extends OpenWrt router firmware By Joe Barr on June 18, 2007 (3:01:00 PM) http://www.linux.com/articles/114338 and x-wrt homepage http://x-wrt.org/ >From a quick look, it seems like it adds some administration conveniences via a UI wrapper extension. I can't remember now how/why I concluded, but when I looked around a while ago, I got the impression that dd-wrt appealed to me more than the other alternatives. I'm still waiting for someone to tell me why I was right [or wrong] :-) ..Oh well, Real Soon Now [tm], I really will try flashing my WRT54GL. Maybe I'll try the vpn flavor. I'd kinda like to learn something about vpn. Regards, ..jim -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
