That is a good price.  It is very tempting.  I have been looking at
Nokia's devices with interest for a while.  The N800 is better in most
respects than the 770, but there are still a few places the 770
shines.  It has a hard, slip-on shell that protects the screen.  The
770 can have usb host mode enabled (though it requires external power
for the devices), where this hasn't quite been figured out yet for the
N800's chipset.

Well, that's about it.  You can get the N800 for about $350 (I have
seen it in the past for $330), and it is better in almost every way.
It supports SD cards instead of the less common RS-MMC format.  It has
a better appearance, a webcam, a desktop stand, ports on the side,
rather than on the bottom.
