After selecting a mirror and tasks, the installation does not proceed
after "Retrieving 81 of 81" (for example). It does not install them. It
"retrieves" them all, but does nto isntall them,a nd never proceeds. It
does not matter which mirror or which tasks I select. I have tried
selecting not to use a mirror, with the same results. It also does not
seem to matter which kernel I select to install either.

Hardware:
Core2 Duo 6600, 2G RAM, on-board video, 3ware 8006 RAID card, 2 x 160G
SATA drives. CentOS 5, CentOS 4, FreeBSD 6.2 and OpenBSD 4.0 and 4.1
install just fine on this system.

OS:
debian-40r0-i386-netinst.iso image. Installing using external USB CDROM
drive.

As many of my customers do, this one asked for the 32-bit version on
this hardware, which is 64-bit. The installation of the 64-bit version
(debian-40r0-amd64-netinst.iso) works just fine, no problems. I have
tried this on two different servers with identical hardware.

Any thoughts on how to get 32-bit Etch on this thing would be
appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
