OLPC is planning to sell retail units in the US. They will be more
expensive ffor us....but when you purchase a unit, another unit will
be sent to a third world country. I don't know when they plan to
release it though. I have used one, and I could type decently fast,
probably 70-75wpm, but you do notice the lag.

As far as the n800 goes, you can hook up a portable bluetooth keyboard
to it, or use the built-in touchscreen keyboard. Currently I'm writing
this on an n770 with the touchscreen keyboard.

Finally, as far as the OpenMoko goes, I can't wait until October!

I can't wait to get my hands on one of these. I intend to switch my phone
to OpenMoko in October when the second version of the hardware is released
which has camera and GPS. I'd love to get my hands on an OLPC although I'm
not sure when that would be since it isn't for retail sale. And I'm a bit
concerned since the keyboard is 2/3 size (designed for kids) but I've
always wanted a small low power Linux laptop. Not sure I have much use for
the N800 though since it doesn't have a keyboard although it sounds
spiffy.
