Yesterday I didn't see that problem, because I just downloaded the ogg
and played it with xine.

I think I chose download mainly because I had plug-ins disabled at the
time.

I went back and looked today and I don't see choppiness running it in
the browser ..today.

But I /have/ been plagued by extreme choppiness from time to time. I
attribute it to the server or network having some kind of 'stutter'
problem. Such behavior can be quite painful to watch! Well, painfully
annoying, anyway.

That's why, in cases where I can download a file, I often opt for that
and play it via xine or mplayer. Curiously, I have sometimes found that
one will play but not the other!. =-O
