you're right, of course, but I think (for me, anyway) that experienced people also have intuitions that deserve to be checked first. However experience can lead to different intuitions. I guessed Myth. Gus guessed HW/PS. The OP guessed memory. All seem to me pretty good guesses, worthy of a test (Myth and SW in general is harder to pin down, so "HW first" is not a bad reminder).
