Huwaei is acquiring 3com. Huwaei was founded by the PLA. This poses a
potential national security threat, because they supply equipment to the
US governent.
Pardon me while I laugh lots. It's a bit late *now* for this kind of
fearmongering.
Da Gummint didn't seem to think that outsourcing to unknown foreign
companies of dubious control was a big deal while it was only the bottom
level workers that suffered. Now that the dollar is falling and entire
companies are getting bought and the CEO's are likely to get removed,
it's a big deal.
Let them buy it. The Chinese can't be any worse that our home-grown
crop of greedy bastards.
