Depends on the quality of the keyboard. Poor-quality keyboards have the
letters silk-screened on to 'em; higher-quality keyboards embed the
glyphs right in to the plastic.

For the former, a little steel wool ought to do the trick. For the
latter, you need either paint or labels.

Labels, alas, need replacing, and are more difficult to keep clean.
