Let's make this month's presentation about bash scripting. And let's make it
several short presentations. Here are some of my ideas.

useful bash scripts for beginners
intermediate bash scripts
bash scripts for administrators
quirks of bash variants
why you might want to use another shell.
This is all subject to change and alternate suggestions. But I'd like to
"bash" it out before the weekend and get volunteers for each part. You can
volunteer for more than one if so motivated.
