If someone brings a voice recorder, we could put the audio on the

I have to leave work early just to show up late. :-(

My Zen does audio recording, I'd be happy to volunteer. maybe no one would
mind if I stuck it on a front table to pick up the speaker better.

Has anyone ever thought about video recording the meetings? They could be
posted on the net for people that don't live in San Diego. Just a thought.

Is there an interest in having the meetings videotaped? I have a wireless
lapel mic and video equipment (technically, the mic requires an FCC permit
to use). The only problem is that I don't want to get myself stuck with a
long-term commitment.

I've just joined the list here, so I don't really have an idea of how long
the meetings are going to be and stuff like that. But, I might be willing
to tape one and see how it goes.

I would recommend getting releases from the speakers before putting videos
on YouTube, or distributing them.
