In my current setup, I usually use Thunderbird and access about 5 or 6 different IMAP servers with it. I leave my mail on the IMAP server, but I generally also download a locally cached copy.

Any suggestions for setting this kind of thing up with Mutt?

I'm in a similar situation. I've been using Thunderbird, but I'm trying to figure out how best to move things to the command line so I can centrally access my services via a leased Virtual Private Server.

Also, is mutt the best CLI tool to access IMAP mailboxes? I know I'm putting my head in the lion's mouth here, but I'm interested in opinions from people who use other software.
