I've noticed that sometimes "/etc/init.d/networking restart" is not enough to reset/restore my network settings. Sometimes I end up having to reboot. Why can't "/etc/init.d/networking restart" save all?
For example, today I had to plug in and use eth0 to set up a new router I bought. I don't normally use eth0. "/etc/init.d/networking restart" could NOT restore things back. Only a reboot restored things. Chris -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
