Most Creative Labs Mp3 players will work in Amarok.  I have never used
Rhythmbox so I can't comment.
IIRC there is also Gnomad for Creative's players as well.  Any of the
players that use flash cards will work very well.

There is also a kernel module available MTP I believe to give the ability to
mount the Creative players w/out having to use software.  I haven't tried it
yet.
I'm hoping to at least get it running before the next meeting.

Maybe I'm just a "Creative Labs fan girl".
