It's just a list of numbers to me, which would likely turn into a crap shoot. I don't need one with integrated switches or wireless or any of that crap; I have a whole home network already.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

My old Linksys modem was obsoleted by Cox last year. I replaced it with a D-Link DCM-202. I got it at Fry's where it was the only one that looked like it was current enough, and the particular unit I got was mis-priced $20 less than its siblings. I like Fry's that way. :D

The thing's ugly as hell - tries to be some kind of sculpture. And it has no wall mount capability. So far it's been working fine. I mean as far as I can tell: what's the thing supposed to do other than let me onto the Interwebs!
