I've been using the combination of NetNewsWire (on my mac) and NewsGator (to which NNW will synchronize the state of all your feeds). I like it primarily because it means I can use NNW on multiple Macs, and when I'm away from my Macs, it's just a web browser away. NewsGator is starting to get a bit too AJAXy for my tastes, though...
