I've been doing fairly well with emacs viper-mode.  At least it has kept me
from getting cramped wrists like I normally do with Emacs.

I think it's a good example of how one person can be both brillian and
stupid at the same time.  Richard had a wonderful idea for a useful and
powerful editor.  And then implemented it with an incredibly clumsy user
experience.
