IIRC there is a utility that converts Linux and DOS test. unix2dos or
somesuch. Really just EOLn.

Are you converting before, or after, the Unix files are over on your Windows platform? At work I have to do this now and again, and we're a Windows shop. unix2dos is a Cygwin package that I think is installed by default, though it's easy enough to pick from the list.

Both unix2dos and dos2linx are on my Slackware install at home, but I haven't a clue what package they came from. Sorry. I think most former distros I ran had something called 'textutils' or some such package that contained all the conversion utilities.
