Sometime or other, someone will ask some additional "standard" questions:


- what does lspci show about that device (should show the chipset --
maybe rtl8185 or somesuch).

- does dmesg output a line recognizing the device? Is there any
"interesting" messages in the line or two following the kernel's
detection of the device?

- does lsmod show any module loaded that like like rtXXXX or rtlXXXX?

- have you tried a search combining the terms
    linux wireless gateway mx6431 <put realtek chipset here>
  you may want to add fedora

If it is the rtl8185, I understand there have been problems. Maybe there
is a ndiswrapper solution?

Try to get more info, then come back.
If the lspci of lsmod or dmesg commands are not familiar, ask (or try man).
