I have two file trees (source code). I want to know the differences in file names in those trees. I don't care if the files themselves differ internally (I'm searching for new and deleted files between the two trees).
I'm in Linux and have available all the usual utilities as well as p4. Also anything I can download. Closest I've come on my own so far is dir -Rx1 . Done in both trees, and diffed. But the output is complex. [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~/dev/tst> dir -R -x1 .: 1 2 ./1: 1.a 1.b 1.c ./2: 2.a 2.b 2.c ... but what I really need is: ./1/ ./2/ ./1/1.a ./1/1.b ./1/1.c ./2/2.a ./2/2.b ./2/2.c -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
