atrpms now has MythTV 0.21 rpms for el5, so I'm ready to make my move. I've been resisting putting too much time into the various annoyances I have, figuring that an overall upgrade to CentOS 5.1 and Myth 0.21 would be in the offing, might automagically fix a lot, and will make primping up the remainder more useful.
Because I plan to get rid of LVM (I don't see the point and it's sabotaged my recovery efforts a couple of times when things went west), I'm not going to try to save the data base or any recordings. Most of the stuff is quite expendible. I like to announce moves like this in case someone on the list has personal experience and wants to give me Dire Warnings. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
