Wrong. Physics is especially wrong. In Illinois, as of 10 years ago
and from teacher friends the same si still true, 3 years of science
are required. The vast majority of students end up with 1 year of
chem, 1 year of bio, and 1 year of physics. Calculus is still the
4th year math class there, and a good portion of the school takes it-
at least 20%.
That's Illinois, not California.
Grab a current syllabus from one of the schools in LA or Oakland.
