I've used k9copy under MythTV successfully, but sometimes it just refuses
to work. Is anything else available?
I've had success with handbrake on otherwise unrippable dvds. Some dvds
are copy protected, which usually involves bogus tracks that contain read
errors and such. The normal titles don't invoke them.
Using a ripper, either handbrake, or something like dvdbackup to rip
individual titles rather than the whole disc will usually get around these.
