While I am usually very interested in such things... the SD BSD Users
Group and 2600 group are both like this, no structure, "networking"
events. I am not sure I can go to Players. I went back in my mail
history to confirm, Players Sports Bar has SPAMMED. They started before
they opened and a couple of times after. I never opted in to their list,
I attempted to opt out at one point ("Take me off your list!"), but I
continued to receive it for a total of about a year. Admittedly, this
was in 2004... but that's not the point.On Mon, 2008-04-14 at 10:00 -0700, Carl Lowenstein wrote: > Possibly of interest. > > ---------- Forwarded message ---------- > From: Laurence Dorazio <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: Sun, Apr 13, 2008 at 9:35 PM > Subject: Linux / Networking > To: Carl Lowenstein <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > > I'm part of the Linux User Group, although I haven't > made it out for the InstallFest yet, I live in > Carlsbad...
