I tend toward the consistency camp too. If a thread starts out top
posted, I top post. If it starts out bottom posted, I bottom post.
What I hate is a top-posted message with a bottom post thrown in in
the middle, and then more top posts to follow or vice versa,
untrimmed, though I am a lazy trimmer myself. This can make the
context hard to follow.
