Why do you think "everybody" claims white on black is more readable? Didn't I start a thread on the exact opposite notion recently? We can safely assume that ebay.com, yahoo.com and google.com spent more $$ than your whole family makes in a decade on this question. If they *ALL* say white backgrounds are best then dern it...that's good nuff for me. Everyone else is wrong.
