All of a sudden, I just got an absolute metric ton of "returned mail" notice spam--we're talking something like 300+ in seconds.

I remember some other folks talking about this. What's the proper way to reject this using postfix?

I'm still getting hundreds myself. I have been filtering ALL mail bounces as Junk in Thunderbird. Joshua provided a good link for filtering with Postfix though.

I just wish more mail servers out there had cluefull filters that would not even allow such spam through in the first place, let alone bounce the message back to the wrong address (using an obviously forged header).

I've recently sent e-mails to several people telling them they should cease the use of their auto-responders because they are replying to spam (and these responders replied to my e-mail address because someone spammed them using my add. in the header).
