I'm having power management issues on my PowerBook G4 running Ubuntu
8.04 ppc. I know I raved earlier about how great the setup was, and
it's still running fine, but the machine tends to shut down (i.e. not
stay in standby) when I leave the lid closed for any length of time.
It doesn't power off if I close and reopen immediately, and it does
ask for my password upon reopening in that situation, so it's at least
*trying* to follow the settings I've chosen.

Any tips/ideas? It seems that I'm running both pbbuttonsd and the
GNOME power manager by default, and there have been reports of
conflicts, but I'm not sure what to do next (and, to be honest, don't
really have time to play with it right now). I'll probably bring the
machine in on Saturday to the InstallFest, if anybody wants to come
and work on it with me in person...
