So, it seems that the duplicates are likely to happen if after I send
the message, I go and do something in Evolution (like hit
"send/receive") before it has left the outbox.

When I go in to "turbo-mode" and get hyper-manic-production-focused, I
might hit send receive after hitting send in a message and before it has
actually left.

I tend to get this way if i have had a few iced-teas and realize I have
only an hour to get 10 tickets closed, settle a few other emails, check
some graphs and logs, pick up servers and get to the data center.. but
there are unread messages in the mail folders for kplug, sdw2003,
bugtraq, nanog.. then I decide to answer one.

Maybe I need to get caffeine-free iced-tea... is there such a thing ?
