Why?
Because I am tired of lengthy fsck times and having data corruption.
Ever since reiserfs came along with journalling (around 99 so almost 10
years now) I haven't had to sit through an fsck and it has been
wonderful. I remember the bad ol' days of 8 hour fsck times on a
production filesystem and I don't want to go back to them.
