Summary: the author felt disappointed and betrayed by the lack of attention and acknowledgment to Linux in the ASUS Eee PC stand.
I'm not sure I would agree with him. Let Linux sneak in via the back door. Let people use it without realizing that they are using it. When they are some day asked to pay for their OS when they had previously been getting it for free they will realize what's going on. When selling Linux to the non-technical public something new or different or potentially incompatible can be a liability. I would rather see Asus sell millions of these without anyone but us knowing what's under the hood.
