Set both spooldir and folder, that seems to work for me. Like so:
set spoolfile="imaps://imap-server"
set folder="imaps://imap-server/"
Then I can change folders by doing:
c=folder
= seems to prepend the root from one of the above. Tab completion for
folder names also works.. like the above can be done via:
c=fo^I
