Finally got around to this (now that I'm back at home): Server Down Up (all speeds kbps) Seattle, WA 18035 555 San Fransicso, CA 15203 552 Los Angeles, CA 16451 547 Dallas, TX 8411 553 Chicago, IL 19956 556 Atlanta, GA 12720 554 New York City, NY 11705 549 Washington, DC 11783 549 Max Min Avg Down: 19956 8411 14295.5 Up: 556 547 551.875I'm with Cox Cable/Internet/Phone in Santee. Speeds were damn near intolerable before I replaced my 8-year-old Toshiba cable modem with a new D-Link last year, and that simple $40 swap-out brought me from ~5mbit to nearly ~20mbit for downloads, and from ~200kbit to ~550kbit uploads.
Overall I'm pretty happy (especially when downloading ISOs), but Cox is my only option for broadband where I live, and I use their internet services as minimally as possible (i.e., none of my email goes through their systems, ever.)
