When I first heard about it, I thought "oh, neat". It seemed like a
neat language, and a neat framework built on the language.

The hype got a bit too much "Ruby Is Great! Everything Else Sucks!" and
some of their examples seem a bit disingenuous now and then. I know
it's not a fault of the language that the proponents can't speak without
flying spittle, but it's just that much harder to muster the enthusiasm
for finding problems to attack with such tools.

And, I admit, I've come to enjoy statically-type-checked languages.
Except when I don't.
