(I guess I should send this to the LPSG list.)

I use Mozilla for all my email. My mom sends a lot of jokes. Some use
a normal sized font. Some use a large font. But unfortunately most use
a font so tiny that I have to increase the size to read it. Then when I
move on to the next email that does *not* have such a tiny font, the
text is way too large. So there I am, having to bump the size up and
down, up and down, up and down. The emails from my mom are just about
the only ones with this problem. Most of these are because she is just
forwarding the jokes or whatever. She knows how to set the font for
what she types, but so far I have not been able to get her to understand
how to fix the font of what she forwards.

I have a filter set up in Mozilla that automaticly redirects emails from
her into their own subfolder. Would it be a difficult script to write
to scan that Mozilla folder for emails with fonts too tiny and
automaticly double the size of all the fonts in each such email? Has
anyone already written a script that comes close to doing this? Most of
the ones with fonts too small seem to be consistent about how much too
small, and I just took one of them, loaded it into Mozilla's html
editor, doubled all the font sizes, saved it, viewed it, and it appears
that doubling is just about perfect. (BTW, 12pt and 10pt were doubled
to 24pt and 20pt.)

Any ideas?
