I have been indulging myself in some reading of late in preparation for launching into a substatial project.
I am pretty much sold on REST ala Fielding http://www.ics.uci.edu/~fielding/pubs/dissertation/top.htm Another useful starting point and a great acronym is DRY (Don't Repeat Yourself) See http://www.artima.com/intv/dry.html One of the better papers that I have found that pulls this all together is RESTful Rails Development http://www.b-simple.de/documents/download/5 I am curious (Yellow) as to others experiences and beliefs about REST (e.g. vs SOAP, etc.) I am also looking for RESTful support ala Rails for Python.
