Because I've had to cancel two guest appearances in April due to my latop crisis, I'm giving an update on its health with regard to the SDTUG meeting on 4/19/07.
I'm guardedly optimistic that it will be well and available for the meeting. I took it to the laptop hospital today and they agreed with my assessment and were very encouraging on the prognosis. They're going to reseat the heat sink, blow out the radiator, and test and possibly replace the fan. I should have more news later this week. They were very Linux friendly. It warms the heart even after all these years. If my poor laptop has gone to the Great Recycler in the sky, I _will_ bring a desktop to the meeting. I will _not_ let this opportunity for us to learn about WyattERP slip by. Thank you for your patience. I'll make it up to the other two groups somehow. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-lpsg
