Funny how this is the same hardware that runs Windows without a hitch.
1) Windows is quite happy to silently propagate errors until bluescreen
2) Linux actually *reports* bad hardware.
3) Unix stresses memory subsystems more than Windows
When we were designing PowerPC microprocessors, we didn't declare
victory until it booted minix and compiled gcc. Neither MacOS nor
Windows NT were good enough to use as an acceptance test.
